Engagement Photos – Casual Outfit
So today’s post is to share half of our engagement photos, and it’s on an off day from my typical posting schedule but I just couldn’t wait to share them!!
Our photographer did an AMAZING job, and it’s even more impressive considering it was the first weekend in March so most things outside were dead, and it was super windy that day and he still nailed it. We are so pleased and highly recommend him!
He used to be a photo journalist so his style is so unique and I just love it. Just looking through his portfolio is kind of mind blowing.
Being me and loving fashion, I researched outfit ideas for what Jake and I should wear and was inspired by a few different things. His outfits were so easy to pick out, but I actually had to seek outside help for mine. I think I was just too close to the situation, haha. I do love how it turned out.
Shout out to my fellow fashion blogger Julie for first of all hooking me up with Kevin as he was her wedding photographer, and second for helping me pick out my outfit!! Check her IG out here and her blog here. She has awesome style and is super sweet. She’s also given me some seriously great tips when it comes to blogging that I’m extremely appreciative of. Definitely check her out.
I knew I wanted both a casual outfit and a fancier outfit. I got my bell sleeved top from one of my Trunk Club shipments, and it’s FINALLY back in stock! AND on sale for 50% off!! I couldn’t find anything close to my rose gold tassle necklace, so here is the direct link to it. I’ve linked my outfit HERE and at the end of the post for you guys. Jakes outfit is linked, too, if like me you like to dress your man haha.
I have to split them up because there are almost 90 pictures between the 2 looks, so this is obviously the casual side and I will share the fancy outfit tomorrow.
Let me know what you guys think!! Have a wonderful weekend and a safe St. Patrick’s Day! 😘
